Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is an armband from 2026, sitting in the mid-range band at an indicative $199.

It reads 18 of the 33 signals this comparison tracks. Nothing at all from body composition. Rarer readings it does take: Body Battery.

By sensor class: 11 at high accuracy and 3 at consumer grade. That grade is my classification of the hardware, not a lab test. Those readings come from an optical heart rate sensor, an optical blood oxygen sensor, a skin temperature sensor and an accelerometer. Blood oxygen is measured through the night, not continuously through the day.

Its 10 days per charge are the 4th longest of the 11 devices of its kind here that publish a figure. No GPS of its own, it borrows the phone's. Rated 5ATM / 50m, fine for swimming. No subscription is required.

Screen-free band announced 21 July 2026, on sale 24 July. Worn on the wrist or the upper arm, it carries the health and training stack of Garmin's sub-500 USD watches without a display: Body Battery, HRV status, Training Readiness, training load and VO2 max. No altimeter, so no floors, and speed and distance need the phone.
