Verity Sense
Polar Verity Sense is an armband from 2021, sitting in the budget band at an indicative $89.
It reads 3 of the 33 signals this comparison tracks. Nothing at all from sleep, fitness and body composition.
By sensor class: 2 at high accuracy and 1 at consumer grade. That grade is my classification of the hardware, not a lab test. Those readings come from an optical heart rate sensor and an accelerometer.
Rated WR50 / 50m, fine for swimming. It weighs 5 g. No subscription is required.
Optical arm/temple HR band; live HR over BLE/ANT+, no GPS/SpO2/HRV-grade R-R.

Turn a supported wearable into daily health scores
MyBodyAI reads COROS, Oura, Polar and Withings by logging in, Fitbit and Pixel Watch through Google Health, and Garmin through the Android app or a data export, then builds daily recovery, sleep, load and immune scores, a biological age estimate, and early warnings. Optional, and separate from this comparison.
This comparison is free and ad-free. One developer builds and updates it. If it saved you hours of research, a coffee is a kind way to say thanks.
