Pricing FAQ About Contact MyBodyAI

Progress, levels, badges and class

The Progress tab is the game-like layer of MyBodyAI. You earn XP for days with data, daily check-ins and missions, climb ten ranks, collect badges for habits that last weeks, and grow a class from your health indices. Everything counts only from the day you joined, and none of it changes a score: Body Status, recovery and the rest are computed the same way with or without it. The tab is part of Premium.

What the Progress tab holds#

The tab is called “Progress” (“Postup” in Czech) and sits last in the row of tabs. It always shows today. There is no day picker on it, because XP, streaks and classes are not per-day numbers you browse back through. From the top down it holds:

  • “Your progress”: your rank, your goal and your XP over seven days, with three buttons underneath (see the top of the tab).
  • A strip of four tiles: “Check-in streak”, “Days with data”, “Badges” and “Class” (see the tiles).
  • “Today's missions”: the steps, bedtime and check-in cards of the day (see missions).
  • “Class” and “The way to the next stage”: two cards side by side (see your class).
  • “Badges”: the shelf of badge families (see badges).

A small button at the top, “How Progress works”, opens a short guide that says the same things in a few lines. The Overview also carries a “Today's goals” card that shows your rank, level, XP of the day and your check-in streak, and opens this tab. The first time a badge or a class stage is earned while the app is open, a card headed “Unlocked” or “New tier” lists it with its XP, and “Done” closes it.

How the numbers come about is in How MyBodyAI works; each tab is in the app tour.

Only what happened since you joined#

XP, badges, streaks and the class stages count from your registration day, in your own time zone, and never from the history your watch brought along. A device that delivers 90 days of old data on its first sync does not hand you 90 days of XP. Those days still feed your scores. They are context, not credit.

Weeks count from the first Monday on or after the day you joined. If you joined on a Wednesday, that week does not count toward a weekly badge, and the first counted week starts on the Monday after. If you joined on a Monday, that week counts in full.

Data dated after your joining day count whenever they arrive: a night that reaches us two days late still adds its day. A Garmin export of older years does not.

The top of the tab#

The top panel has three columns.

  • Rank. A ring with your level out of 10, the name of the rank and “1,150 XP to Analyst”. The ring fills with the share of the way to the next rank. A tap opens the “Rank ladder”.
  • Your goal. One badge family and how far it is, with a line on what moves it this week (see your goal).
  • “XP, 7 days”. One bar for each of the last seven days, with the sum as “+85”, and the sheet “How to earn XP” behind a tap.

Your goal#

You can pick one badge family as your goal. The card then reads “Your goal” and the family's badges come first on the shelf, marked “goal”. Without a pick the card reads “Nearest goal” and shows the family closest to its next tier. When two are equally close, the one earlier in this list wins: Active weeks, Weeks within limits, Quality sleep, In your rhythm, Above your usual, A calmer heart, Daily check-in, Perfect week.

Press “Choose your goal” (“Your goal” once chosen) under the card, or “Make this my goal” in a family's window, or use “Progress goal” inside “My daily goals”. The picker lists only families your devices can feed and that still have a tier left. “Clear my goal (the nearest one shows)” removes the pick. Days with data, Listened to your body, Younger than you came and the welcome badges cannot be a goal.

The seven bars#

Each bar is the XP of one day, stacked by source: data, check-in, missions and badges. Today has a ring around it. Days before you joined are dimmed. The bars leave out two things that belong to no single day: the streak bonus and the class stages. The sum above the bars can therefore be smaller than what your total grew by in a week.

The four tiles#

TileShowsA tap goes to
“Check-in streak”days in a row, and “done today” or “not yet today”the Daily check-in badge
“Days with data”days since joiningthe Days with data badge
“Badges”earned out of all you can earn, and bronze, silver and gold countsthe shelf of badges
“Class”your class name and “3 of 7 days to the next tier”the class cards

Before there are enough scores, the class tile says “Not yet” and “after 3 days of scores”. In the energy pacing mode the first tile is not shown (see energy pacing).

How XP is earned#

XP is counted, not paid out step by step. Every time your numbers are computed, we add up what your account holds since you joined and store the sum. That is why XP cannot drift from the badges, days and missions it stands on. The sources are:

SourceXPWhen
“A day with data”5each day with a reading
“Daily check-in”10each day you check in
“Movement mission” or “Day within limits”15each day it is met, settled the day after
“Bedtime mission”15each night asleep on plan
“Streak bonus”50each 30 days of your longest check-in streak
“Badge tiers”50, 150, 400bronze, silver, gold, once
“BioClass tier”100, 250, 500each class stage reached

The welcome badges “Welcome” and “First data” are worth 25 XP each, and “Early Adopter” 100. A day can pay at most 45 XP: 5 for data, 10 for the check-in, 15 for the movement mission (or the day within limits) and 15 for the bedtime mission. Badges and class stages pay on top, once.

A day with data#

A day counts when we hold at least one stored reading for it: sleep length, sleep score, deep sleep, resting heart rate, average stress, steps, active minutes, blood oxygen, weight, or the morning energy of a Garmin watch. Wearing the device is the floor, so it pays the least. It counts whether or not you opened the app that day. A day with no stored value at all does not count, while a stored zero is a reading.

The check-in#

Each daily check-in pays 10 XP. A check-in can be filed for today and for yesterday, and for no older day, so a morning check-in can cover last night (see the check-in). Deleting a check-in removes its XP, because the total is counted from what exists.

The streak bonus#

Each 30 consecutive check-in days pay 50 XP, with no upper limit. The bonus is counted on your longest run ever, so one stretch never pays twice. A run of 65 days pays two blocks, 100 XP. If you break it and then build a run of 35 days, nothing more is paid, because the longest run is still 65. Only a run past 90 days adds the third block.

Badge and class XP#

A badge family has three tiers, bronze 50, silver 150 and gold 400, so a whole family is worth 600 XP. A class stage pays 100 for Awakened, 250 for Mastered and 500 for Ascended: 850 XP for a whole cycle.

Ranks#

RankFrom XP
1. Newcomer0
2. Explorer300
3. Tracker900
4. Warrior1,900
5. Analyst3,300
6. Protector5,200
7. Expert7,600
8. Master10,500
9. Champion14,000
10. Legend18,000

The ranks are far apart on purpose. The app says the second comes after about two weeks of regular use and Legend after more than a year.

You hold 2,150 XP. That is Warrior (from 1,900), and the next rank, Analyst, starts at 3,300. You are 250 XP into a span of 1,400, so the ring is at 18 % and the label reads “1,150 XP to Analyst”.

After Legend#

Legend covers a zone as wide as the whole ladder, from 18,000 to 36,000 XP. The label then reads “XP to the next cycle”, and the ring fills across that zone. At 36,000 XP the ladder starts again at Newcomer and the “Rank ladder” says “Ladder cycle 2”. Your total keeps growing and completed cycles stay counted. The restart is only how the rank is shown.

A first week, worked out#

You join on a Monday and your device delivers every day. Over seven days you earn:

  • “Welcome” and “First data”: 25 + 25 = 50 XP.
  • Seven days with data: 7 × 5 = 35 XP.
  • Seven check-ins: 7 × 10 = 70 XP.
  • The movement mission on 3 days and the bedtime mission on 2: 5 × 15 = 75 XP.
  • The bronze “Daily check-in”, reached on the seventh day in a row: 50 XP.

That is 280 XP, 20 short of Explorer. A day with data and a check-in adds 15, so two more such days take you past 300.

Today's missions#

The card “Today's missions” lists what the day asks of you and what each part pays. The counter beside the title, for example “1 / 3”, counts finished missions out of the missions of the day. The “Tip for today” card is a plain suggestion, pays nothing and is not counted. “Edit goals” opens “My daily goals”, where you set the steps goal, check the bedtime and choose your Progress goal.

  • “Log today”. “30 seconds: mood, energy, sleep.” It opens the daily check-in. Once done it reads “Done, thanks. Streak continues.”
  • “Today's movement”. Steps so far against the goal, for example “4,200 / 7,500 steps”, with a bar and “+15 XP”.
  • “Get to bed tonight”. “Aim: in bed around 22:30”, with a note when sleep debt moves the time earlier.
  • “A day within limits”. Only in the energy pacing mode, in place of the steps card.

Between midnight and your morning sync, the numbers on the screen still belong to yesterday. The steps card then reads “waiting” and shows no reward, because that day is over.

The steps mission#

The mission is met when the day's steps reach the goal the card showed that day. The goal is written down on the day: it can shift a little as your numbers update, and the last goal shown that day is the one the day is judged on. A day on which the app was not opened has no goal written down, so it has no steps mission and pays nothing. Only today is written down. Before the morning sync, when the screen still shows yesterday, nothing new is recorded.

You can keep the goal automatic or fix it. Automatic: built from your last two weeks of steps, at the upper end of your usual days. When a usual day is under the healthy line of 8,000 steps (7,000 from age 60), the goal sits up to 500 steps above it, never past the line, and your state of the day can move it a little. Fixed: the same number every day, from 3,000 to 40,000 in steps of 500. A met mission pays the same 15 XP however the goal is set.

The bedtime mission#

The mission is met on a night when you fell asleep within 30 minutes either side of the bedtime the app planned for that day. We compare the time your device recorded as sleep onset with the planned time. Only a plan we trust counts: a bedtime you set yourself, or one built from your own nights with high or medium confidence. A time the app only makes up for an account with no nights and no set rhythm is not a plan and pays nothing. See tonight's goal and the bedtime advice.

When a mission is settled#

Missions are settled the day after, never in the evening, because the day's steps and the night are not complete before that.

  • The day after must hold a reading. For a bedtime mission it must also hold the night you slept after that day.
  • If those never arrive, the day is settled anyway after 3 days, on what it holds.
  • A day older than 14 days that was never settled is closed with no pay.
  • If the last steps of a day arrive after it was settled as missed and they reach the goal, the 15 XP is paid late, within the 14 days. Nothing is ever taken back when a count later shrinks.

Your class#

The class is an archetype named after what you are strongest at. It is not a medical grade and not a ranking against other people.

How a class comes about#

From 12 health indices we take the 3 strongest over the last 7 days, counting today and the six days before. We need at least 3 days of scores in that window, at least 3 indices that have 2 values or more in it. The indices fall into five domains:

DomainIndices
DefenseImmunity, Body Alert
CardiacCardiac Fitness, Nervous System
RecoveryRecovery, Morning Energy, Stress Load
SleepSleep Quality, Sleep Debt, Body Clock
StrainOvertraining, Breathing

Three of them are inverted, so that a higher number always means better: Body Alert, Stress Load and Overtraining enter as 100 minus the value. On this tab they carry their positive names: “Resilience”, “Calm” and “Freshness”, and Sleep Debt appears as “Sleep balance”.

The domains of your three strongest give one of 32 classes. Three from Recovery give “Phoenix”, three from Sleep “Dreamweaver”. Two from one domain and one from another give a pairing such as “Vitalist” (two Recovery, one Cardiac). Three different domains give names such as “Healer” or “Paladin”. Until you reach the first stage the class can change with the data. From the first stage it is frozen until the cycle ends. Two strengths swapping places is not a new class.

Your three strongest over seven days are Sleep Quality 82, Body Clock 78 and Sleep balance 75. All three are Sleep, so you are a Dreamweaver. The next week Morning Energy 80, Recovery 77 and Nervous System 74 lead: two Recovery and one Cardiac, so you become a Vitalist, as long as you have no stage yet.

For each index see Sleep Quality, Sleep Debt, Body Clock, Recovery, Morning Energy, Stress Load, Nervous System, Cardiac Fitness, Immunity, Body Alert, Breathing and Overtraining.

The “Class” card shows the name, “Stage: Awakened” or “No stage yet”, the three stages with their bars, and the three strengths as 7-day averages. Under it the button “How a class comes about” (“12 indices · 32 classes · 3 stages”) opens the guide.

The stages and the areas to grow#

The stage is not won with your strengths. It is won by raising your three weakest indices, the areas to grow.

StageThe 3 weakest atForPays
Awakened50 or more7 days100 XP
Mastered55 or more21 days250 XP
Ascended60 or more30 days500 XP

The areas are picked at the start of a stage as the three weakest indices and stay the same until the next stage, so the goal does not move while you work on it. They are re-picked only when one of them stops being measured (fewer than 2 values in 7 days), or when data for a fuller trio arrives. They never overlap your strengths.

“The way to the next stage” shows the count as “3 / 7 days”, the bar, the rule and the three areas with their latest measured day and, in small print, the 7-day average. Each area under the bar carries one step that lifts it, behind “What lifts the areas”: for example for Sleep Debt “Add 30 to 60 minutes of sleep for a few nights by going to bed earlier”. In the energy pacing mode these steps never ask you to train.

How a day counts and how the run breaks#

A day holds when every area that was measured that day is at the bar or above. The value is compared as the card prints it: rounded to a whole number, a 49.6 prints as 50 and passes. A day on which none of the three was measured does not hold, and neither does a day before you joined.

The run counts holding days going back from today. One day off does not break the run, but does not count. Two in a row end it. Today counts once it holds. Until then it is not a miss. The count we show is the number of holding days, so a run of 7 can be spread over more than 7 calendar days.

Awakened asks for 7 holding days. Days 1 to 3 hold, day 4 is under the bar, days 5 to 8 hold. Counting back from day 8 gives 4 + 3 = 7: the single day off is forgiven, and you reach Awakened on day 8. If day 5 had been under the bar as well, the run would have ended at day 4 and you would count only days 6 to 8.

The strip “Last 14 days” draws one cell for each day: “holds”, “under the bar” (with the names of the areas), “no measurement”, “before you joined” and “Today: under the bar so far”. A tap or hover names the day. A stage promotion happens as soon as the count is full, and the count towards the next stage starts again on the days you have already lived, against the new bar and the three weakest of that moment. The class moves up one stage at a time.

Ascended and a new cycle#

Ascended holds on the day it is reached and the day after. From the third day the class is handed back: it goes to “Completed classes” on the “How a class comes about” sheet (the last 10 are listed), the stage returns to none, and a new class is set from your current strongest three. The 850 XP of the finished cycle stay, and the new cycle can pay 100, 250 and 500 again.

Badges#

The “Badges” card shows one card per family, in the order that says what to do next: your goal first, then open families by how close the next tier is, finished ones last. A card has a medal, “No tier yet” or the tier you hold, “next 4 weeks”, a bar such as “2 / 4”, dots for the week in progress, and one line of advice. A tap opens the family's window: its three tiers with the day each was earned, “To the next tier”, “This week”, “What helps” and the rule. The single badges (“Welcome”, “First data”, and “Early Adopter” when you hold it) sit in a quiet row above.

Each family has three tiers: bronze, silver and gold. A tier is earned once and stays, dated by the day its event happened. The families are:

FamilyA unit counts whenTiers
“Daily check-in”days with a check-in in a row7, 30, 100 days
“Days with data”days with data since joining30, 90, 365 days
“Active weeks”a week has 4 days at your steps goal1, 4, 12 weeks
“Weeks within limits”a week has 5 days within limits1, 4, 12 weeks
“Quality sleep”a week has 5 nights of sleep quality 80 or more1, 4, 12 weeks
“In your rhythm”a week has 5 nights asleep on plan1, 4, 12 weeks
“Above your usual”a week of Readiness 5 or more over your month1, 3, 6 times
“Listened to your body”calm days when the body asked for one3, 15, 40 days
“A calmer heart”resting heart rate lower than when you came2, 4, 6 bpm
“Younger than you came”biological age lower than at joining1, 2, 3 years
“Perfect week”a week with data, check-in and Readiness 60 every day1, 4, 12 weeks

A family is shown only if your devices can feed it. A badge you already earned stays on the shelf whatever happens to the data. The tile “Badges” counts what you can earn on your own account, so the total differs from person to person.

Weekly families#

A week is Monday to Sunday. The event is the day the week reached its count, so a bronze can be earned on a Friday without waiting for Sunday. The week in progress is drawn as dots, with a line such as “This week 2 of 4. 2 more days needed, 3 days left in the week: 7,500 steps a day.” When the count can no longer be reached, it says so and starts again from Monday: “This week cannot reach 4 days any more. From Monday again: 7,500 steps a day.”

  • “Active weeks”. 4 days at or above your steps goal. The goal is the one the Progress tab showed that day. For a day with no goal written down, we use your fixed goal if you set one, otherwise the goal the app would have set from the 14 days before, which needs at least 7 of them with 500 steps or more.
  • “Quality sleep”. 5 nights with Sleep Quality 80 or more, the computed score the Sleep tab shows (see Sleep Quality).
  • “In your rhythm”. 5 nights on the plan, the same rule as the bedtime mission, so it needs a plan we trust.
  • “Weeks within limits”. 5 days within limits in the energy pacing mode (see pacing).
  • “Perfect week”. All 7 days with stored data, a daily check-in and Readiness 60 or more. It is the hardest family on the tab.

Above your usual#

A week's Readiness average (7 days) at least 5 points over your own 30-day average, both counted only from days since you joined. The first reading is possible 30 days after joining. All seven days of the week must have a score, and the month at least 21 of its 30. Today is not read, because its score moves through the morning. Both averages are compared to one decimal. Two such weeks must be at least a week apart, so one good week counts once. See Training Readiness.

Your 7-day Readiness average is 66.2 and your 30-day average is 60.5. You need 60.5 + 5 = 65.5, so the week counts. The next one can count 7 days later at the earliest.

Listened to your body#

A closed day (yesterday or earlier) counts when the Body Status stood at “Recovering” or “Alert” and your active minutes stayed under your own median of the 30 days before. The median needs at least 7 measured days since you joined. A day with no active minutes at all counts even when the median is zero. The day also needs steps or a resting heart rate, so a day your device measured nothing is not a calm day. See Body Status and active minutes.

A calmer heart#

We compare the mean resting heart rate of the last 14 days, with at least 10 readings, with your starting point: the month before you joined (at least 14 readings) or, if you came without that history, your first month, measured from day 60. With history the first comparison is made from day 30. Both are rounded to whole beats first, as the card prints them. The tier is dated by the first day your mean sat that many beats lower, and it stays even if the rate later rises. See resting heart rate.

Your starting point is 62 bpm. From day 30 your 14-day mean is 60.4, which rounds to 60. That is 2 beats lower: the bronze tier. Silver needs 58 or lower.

Younger than you came#

Biological age 1, 2 and 3 years further below your calendar age than at your first reading, measured from 30 days after that reading. The progress is your best so far, never below zero, and a tier is earned once. It is not offered in the energy pacing mode. The full rules, including how a model change re-reads the starting point, are in Biological age.

Streaks#

There are three streaks, and they break in different ways.

  • The check-in streak is consecutive days with a check-in. It holds on yesterday until you check in today, so it does not read zero from midnight. If neither today nor yesterday has a check-in, it is over, and the next check-in starts at 1. You cannot fill a day that has gone, because a check-in can be filed only for today and yesterday.
  • The class run counts holding days and forgives one day off (run).
  • Weekly counts (Active weeks and the others) are not streaks. A week that falls short takes nothing away from the tiers earned. The next Monday begins a new count.

A broken streak never subtracts XP. The streak bonus is paid on your longest run, so it stays even after a break.

Why a number on this tab moves#

XP is counted from what your account holds, so it moves when that moves. It grows when data arrive for a day, when a mission is settled, or when you earn a badge. It can fall in three cases: you delete a check-in of today or yesterday, a badge is withdrawn, or values of a connected service are erased from your account. A day without data, a missed check-in or a broken streak subtract nothing. The rank follows the total, so a fall can lower the rank.

When a service's data are removed (see disconnecting), the scores from the first affected day are recalculated, your class starts again, missions from that day are cleared, and health badges earned on or after that day are withdrawn and earned again from what is left. The welcome, check-in, days-with-data and Perfect week badges are not among them.

Energy pacing mode#

In the energy pacing mode the tab stops asking for movement and for streaks (see energy pacing).

  • The tile “Check-in streak” and the line “Streak continues” are not shown. “Log today” reads “Done, thanks.”
  • The steps mission and the steps goal are gone. In their place is “A day within limits”: 15 XP for a day with at most 5 minutes above your heart-rate ceiling, on a day with heart rate recorded for at least 12 hours. It is settled after the day, and a day with too little recorded counts neither way. See missions and badges.
  • “Active weeks” is not offered. “Weeks within limits” is, once your device records heart rate by the minute. “Younger than you came” is not offered, and no new tier is earned.
  • “Perfect week” asks for data, a check-in and a day within limits on each day that has minute-level heart rate. A day without it keeps the Readiness 60 rule. Today and yesterday count only after they are settled.
  • The steps under the areas to grow are worded for the mode and never ask you to train.
  • The badge “Daily check-in” and the streak bonus are not switched off by the mode. Missing a check-in only means the count does not rise.

Tiers you already earned stay.

Free and Premium#

The Progress tab is part of Premium, which the 7-day trial includes. Since 1 November 2026 a free account sees a page “Progress is part of Premium” with the line “Streaks, badges and your progress.” The free plan shows today's Body Status and the safety alerts. Counting does not depend on the plan: XP and badges are counted from your own stored days, so the total you see on Premium includes the days on the free plan. Your data keep arriving and nothing is lost. See plans.

Frequently asked questions#

Why did I get no XP for yesterday's steps?#

Check three things. The mission needs a goal written down for that day, and that happens only when the app draws the day, so a day on which the app was not opened has none. The day is settled only after the day after it holds a reading, so a late sync delays the XP, and a late count that reaches the goal is paid late within 14 days. And the steps must reach the goal the card showed, not a round number you had in mind. See missions.

Why is my XP lower than yesterday?#

XP is counted from what the account holds, so something it stood on was removed: a check-in of today or yesterday that you deleted, a badge that was withdrawn, or data erased with a service you disconnected. See why a number moves. A day without data or a broken streak never subtracts.

I joined with years of watch history. Why do I start at zero?#

Because progress is credit for what you do with the app, and your old history is context for the scores, not credit. Everything counts from your registration day. See only what happened since you joined.

Why does my class keep changing, or show no stage?#

Until you reach the first stage the class follows your three strongest indices of the last 7 days, so it can change when they trade places across domains. You need at least 3 days of scores to get a class at all. A stage needs your three weakest indices at the bar for 7 days with one day off forgiven. From the first stage the class is frozen until the cycle ends. See your class.

Why is a badge family missing from my shelf?#

A family is offered only if your devices can feed it: steps for Active weeks, sleep scores for Quality sleep and In your rhythm, Readiness for Above your usual and Perfect week, Body Status with active minutes for Listened to your body, and at least 14 days of resting heart rate in the last 60 for A calmer heart. Weeks within limits needs energy pacing and minute-level heart rate. Once you earned a tier of a family, it stays on the shelf. See devices.

My streak reset though I checked in. Why?#

The streak counts days in a row that end today or yesterday. A check-in dated two days ago or earlier cannot be added afterwards, so a day you missed stays missed. Check that the check-in was saved for the day you meant, today or yesterday. See streaks.

Do XP, ranks and badges change my health scores?#

No. They are a layer on top of the numbers. Body Status, recovery, sleep and the other scores are computed the same way whether you ever open Progress or not. Nothing on this tab is a medical result, and MyBodyAI is not a medical device.

Can I set a low steps goal to collect XP?#

You can fix the goal anywhere from 3,000 to 40,000 steps, and a met mission pays the same 15 XP however the goal is set. The goal also decides the Active weeks badge. The app recommends the automatic goal, which sits at the upper end of your usual days. See My daily goals.

MyBodyAI is a wellness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose. If you feel unwell, ask a doctor.
